Museum Logo, Marketing, and Branding

Today we discussed ideas for what the logo would look like.

We had the idea of a plate motif, with either a fork/knife on the side or leaning on plate with the name - museum of food in america on the side.

We also discussed perhaps having the logo change in color according to the seasons for having the logo on our scratch and sniff buttons for visitors.

Sarah had a great idea that if we had ethnic food related exhibitions we could change the logo to be an exhibit logo, an example - a chinese food exhibit could have chopsticks.

We were thinking of adding color so something like a food fight color splash behind the plate, have the plate change colors according to seasons, or even change colors according to materials or types of activities, or use the puree swirl splash in the back of the plate as another color motif.

We also talked font and we would like a san sarif in clear and clean lines.

We also talked about the vibe of our branding - we want to exude playful, relateble, and current.

Patty will work on logo and send draft soon, go team!
